About me
I am a PhD candidate in statistics at the Econometric Institute, where I am blessed to be supervised by Patrick Groenen and Andreas Alfons. I am also affiliated with the Department of Public Health at Erasmus Medical Center. My research interests are (i) robust statistics in non-continuous data (in particular rating-scale-data), (ii) mathematical statistics (empirical process theory and high-dimensional models), and (iii) statistical computing and computational statistics. I furthermore enjoy working on applied projects and field-specific statistical problems in medicine, psychology, and economics.
